Held annually in Cairo, Egypt, the exhibition serves as a meeting point for leading companies, government authorities, institutional stakeholders, and investors in the energy sector. This year, the exhibition will take place from March 30 to April 1 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo, and functions as a key platform for dialogue on international developments in the energy sector, the energy transition, renewable energy, and emerging technologies.
PROTASIS will participate as an exhibitor, with its own booth at the Greek Pavilion, presenting its project portfolio and the integrated energy solutions it develops in Greece and international markets.
In addition, the company will have an active presence in the conference program of EGYPES. The CEO of PROTASIS, Mr. Vassilis Georgiou, will participate as a speaker at the exhibition’s Strategic Conference, in the panel titled “Unlocking Renewable Potential through Hybrid PV Systems”, which will take place on April 1st at 12:00 pm. The panel will explore the growth prospects of hybrid photovoltaic systems and their role in accelerating energy transition.
The company will also be represented by its Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. George Arvanitis, who will participate in business meetings and networking activities throughout the exhibition, further strengthening the company’s international partnerships.
The presence of PROTASIS at this year’s event is particularly significant, as the company is a candidate for two major awards to be presented within the framework of the EGYPES Energy Awards, recognizing its contribution to two landmark projects:
- The development and commissioning of a PV SCADA system for the 50 MW Zafarana PV Park in Egypt, a project that makes a substantial contribution to the growth of clean energy in the country.
- The development and commissioning of an Energy Management System for the Hybrid System for Electricity and Heat Production from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) on Agios Efstratios Island in Greece, a pioneering project that enhances sustainability and energy independence of isolated island communities.
PROTASIS has extensive experience collaborating with countries in the Middle East, having undertaken studies for major energy projects since 2003. Since then, the company has developed trusted relationships with leading companies in the region, participating in power generation projects as well as in the oil and gas industry.
PROTASIS’ presence at EGYPES 2026 underscores its steadily expanding international activities and its contribution to the development of modern energy solutions in markets of high strategic importance. Leveraging its expertise and experience, the company continues to support projects that contribute to the energy transition and the modernization of energy infrastructure. Its recognition by Saudi Energy (former SEC), as a qualified partner for power system planning studies in power generation and transmission, underscores PROTASIS’ solid reputation and proven capability as a trusted partner throughout the wider region.
