Senior Power System Consultant

About the Role:

As a valuable member of our team, you will have the opportunity to deal with the technical challenges and problems that modern Power Systems face today. While working on power system studies, you will use your technical knowledge and skills to solve problems and provide specific technical solutions and guidance to clients. You will also have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers in the field of power systems.

During your day, you will:

• Planning projects in transmission and distribution sector
• Conduct Grid Code Connection and Compliance studies
• Conduct studies related to modeling and analysis of RES and conventional generation (RMS and EMT)
• Perform dynamic stability analysis and simulation
• Attend training sessions

To be a fit, you will need: 

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with specialization in power systems
• Α master's degree related to Renewable Energy Systems, Power Conversion Systems, etc. will be an asset
• 5 years of work experience in a relevant job position
• Familiarization with power system simulation packages and tools, such as PowerFactory DIgSILENT, PSS/E, EMTP-RV, PSCAD etc.
• Advanced technical writing skills in Greek and English
• Effective verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Any additional foreign language will be considered an asset
• Willingness and ability to travel within and outside Greece for meetings, conferences and site visits

• Strong interest in electrical power system modeling and analysis
• Understanding of complex electrical networks, and RES technology
• Experience in power system modelling, RMS and EMT studies
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Eagerness to learn modern tools and experiment with new technologies
• Ability to work with varying workload
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within high-performing teams
• Confidence to convey technical advice and guidance to clients
• Strong presentation skills
• Self-motivation for continuous development
