About the Role:
The Senior Business Development & Project Management Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding our market presence, building strong client relationships, and managing complex engineering projects from proposal stage through execution and delivery.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of power systems, substations, and protection & control technologies.
During your day, you will:
- Business Development Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in utilities, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, consultants, EPC contractors, and industry stakeholders
- Develop and implement market expansion strategies in existing and new regions
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
- Lead contract negotiations and support bid preparation activities
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
- Project Management Responsibilities
- Manage engineering and implementation projects throughout their lifecycle
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, and commissioning personnel
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to quality requirements
- Monitor project risks, resources, and performance indicators
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and project teams
- Support project planning, reporting, and contract administration activities
To be a fit, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree is considered an advantage
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the power and energy sector
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or project management of power system projects
- Strong knowledge of power system studies, substation engineering, and protection & control systems
- Experience with SCADA and automation solutions is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Willingness to travel as required
