Project Manager - Smart Metering Services

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for integrated energy data systems to lead and manage projects related to utilities, electromobility and smart solutions.
The role requires strong technical understanding combined with structured project management capabilities, ensuring compliance with internal PROTASIS procedures, while meeting contractual, technical, and financial objectives.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams. You will work closely with utility clients, software vendors, and internal stakeholders to cover the operational needs of large-scale data deployments. This role is ideal for someone with both technical depth and a consulting mindset.

During your day, you will:

• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, accounting, management) and external stakeholders (vendors, end-client) to deliver project milestones
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and mitigating them proactively
• Maintain clear communication channels across departments to ensure seamless execution
• Conduct data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making and improvements in the project process
• Ensure that the goals of the technical development roadmap are met throughout the project
• Track project performance, KPIs, and financials; identify and mitigate deviations
• Manage changes in scope, schedule, and cost using structured control techniques
• Report project status and escalate issues to management when required
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations
• Support contract administration and invoicing
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

To be a fit, you will need:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, program management, or similar roles, ideally in tech or energy sectors. Experience in working with utilities is highly appreciated
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (PMP Certification or equivalent will be considered an advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar)
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and adapt to evolving project demands
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
