Project Manager (EU) - Energy Sector

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage energy-related EU projects, who will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within budget while adhering to deadlines.

To be a fit, you will need:

• Management and implementation of EU Funded R&D projects (e.g. Horizon Europe Research, Innovation project, Development & infrastructure projects) based on the proposal’s provisions
• Ensuring the on-time and on-budget delivery of projects
• Contribute to research in the energy sector
• Tracking project activities and deliverables against a solid project plan
• Cooperation with external and internal stakeholders to achieve expected result
• Preparation of progress reports to the Managing Authorities
• Preparation of deliverables for the technical, scientific and innovation related activities of each project
• Presentation of project results during conference calls and meetings, recording meeting minutes and ensuring timely completion of allocated tasks

What you need to stand out:

• University degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with a specialization in the Energy sector
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English
• Competency in MS office applications
• Ability to cooperate with international partners
• Ability to deliver under deadlines, managing tasks and deliverables to schedule and multitasking
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in project management of EU funded projects
• 2 years of working experience in the implementation of funded projects with a principal scientific object in energy systems, new technologies, sustainability and alternative fuels
