About the role:
We’re looking for a Mid-Senior SCADA Applications Engineer to join our SCADA Systems & Telecoms Department. The ideal candidate will be involved in the design, implementation & maintenance of SCADA Systems & Communication Networks.
During your day, you will:
- Contribute to designing, implementing and commissioning of SCADA Systems for HV/MV substations and Energy Management Systems for RES & BESS
- Deliver data analytics, including processing and visualization of operational data originating from SCADA systems, through the creation of custom dashboards & reports
- Provide technical support and maintenance services for all delivered systems, ensuring long-term performance, availability, and reliability
To be a fit, you will need:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering
- 3+ years of similar experience to the role
What you need to stand out:
- Experience in SCADA development suites (Zenon Copa-Data etc.)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, ORACLE)
- Experience in Windows & Linux operating systems
- Experience with converter‑interfaced generation (PV, wind, battery, HVDC, FACTS) and their control systems
- Knowledge of communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, OPC UA etc.)
- Communication & collaboration skills
- Positive & can-do mentality
Nice to Have (not required):
- Experience in IEC 61131 programming language
- Experience in programming languages (Python, C, C++ etc.)
- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software Knowledge (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, MS Visio)
