IT Administrator

About the Role:

We’re an energy-focused company modernizing our IT landscape and expanding our hybrid cloud and business platforms. As our IT department grows, we’re seeking skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate is a mid-level professional with solid experience in systems administration (Microsoft & Linux), server infrastructure, networking, and security.

You’ll be part of a team responsible for maintaining and evolving a hybrid infrastructure environment, ensuring high availability, security, and smooth operations across the organization.

During your day, you will:

• Provide L2–L3 IT support depending on experience and specialization.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems (installation, configuration, updates, troubleshooting).
• Manage Active Directory / Entra ID, GPOs, user access, and identity governance.
• Support network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, wireless).
• Implement and monitor security measures, including patching, endpoint protection, and MFA.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, system, and networking issues across multiple layers.
• Participate in IT projects such as migrations, DR/BCP implementations, hybrid cloud initiatives.
• Contribute to documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other IT team members and external partners to ensure stability and performance.

To be a fit, you will need:

• 3–6 years of professional experience in IT administration (L2 or early L3 level).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file servers).
• Experience with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, or RHEL-based).
• Working knowledge of networking concepts: routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLAN segmentation.
• Familiarity with Fortinet, Ubiquiti, or similar networking equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of security fundamentals (MFA, patching, logging, access control).
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).

Nice to Have (not required):

• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, hybrid infrastructures).
