About the Role:
Our company is looking for a Data Engineer to staff our Smart Metering & Apps Department
During your day, you will:
- Contribute from Data Engineering perspective to Design, Implementation and Maintenance of systems in a variety of domains such as Telemetering, Data Management, e-mobility, and Smart City solutions.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines and API Integration
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries
To be a fit, you will need:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or other related, quantitative fields
- Post-graduate degree MSc in Engineering, IT/Computer Science or related area is a plus
- At least four years of experience in relative field (in a research establishment or a company)
- Fluency in English
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
- Experience in DBMS: Oracle Database Server (Oracle PL/SQL), MSSQL (SQL Procedures), PostgreSQL
- Experience with one or more popular scripting languages (i.e. python, bash)
- Experience with configuration of opensource data frameworks (i.e. Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Kafka/Zookeeper)
- Working experience on integration procedures, tools and pipelines (APIs)
- Experience with source code management tool, i.e. Git
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
- Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies
