About the Role:
Our company is looking for an Application Support Engineer to staff our Smart Metering & Apps Department. In this role, you will interact directly with customers, diagnose and replicate technical issues, and work closely with senior support teams and other technical departments to ensure seamless utility service operations with minimal disruption.
During your day, you will:
- Support and manage smart metering products and services
- Analyze customer requirements and proposing appropriate technical solutions
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while delivering excellent customer service
- Developing and providing technical documentation and temporary workarounds when needed
What We're Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- A postgraduate degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science is considered an asset
Nice to Have:
- Working with solutions involving both software and hardware
- SQL and data analysis
- Basic programming skills
- Familiarity with IT systems
- Strong technical and business understanding of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and/or Meter Data Management (MDM) systems is a plus
