About the role:
We're looking for an Application Support Engineer to staff our Application Design & Consulting Department.
During your day, you will:
- Manage meter data collection systems i.e. Meter Data Management System (MDM), Advance Meter Infrastructure (AMI) and vendor-specific platforms (HES)
- Create, modify & extend scripts for performing regular or ad-hoc operations
- Manage and resolve technical issues effectively
- Cooperate with the Support Teams of our software vendors if needed for resolving an incident
- Perform standard maintenance procedures and other proactive actions for preserving the stability and health of the systems
- Work closely with the team that supports the device operation and the Data Services team
- Engage with customers to implement new requests for meter data collection processes
- Work on optimization of current flows to ensure smooth operation of applications
To be a fit, you will need:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in related field
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
What you need to stand out:
- IT Skills are a strong plus
- Familiarity with DLMS/COSEM protocols is a plus
- Headend (HES) / Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Systems knowledge is desirable
- Experience and knowledge of electric utility smart metering (Telemetering) is desirable
