CENTAVROS is a European initiative aiming to transform the Port of Volos into a sustainable and energy-efficient maritime hub. By integrating shore-side electricity infrastructure and pioneering wave-energy technologies, the project aims to reduce port-related emissions, improve energy performance, and strengthen the region’s environmental resilience.
Within the CENTAVROS framework, PROTASIS S.A. is responsible for delivering the detailed technical studies required for the port’s electrification infrastructure. This includes the development of Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studies, providing comprehensive engineering services, and conducting additional technical work necessary for the preparation of the tender documents.
As part of the EU co-funded CENTAVROS project (Project ID: 101079652), the contract for drafting the Tender Documents for the Onshore Power Supply (OPS) infrastructure at the Port of Volos has been awarded, through a formal procurement process, to Vasileia Kontomerkou.
The total contract value is €11,500.00 (excluding VAT).
